CPTV Sports Brings Back LIVE Football This Fall! It’s the High School Football Game of the Week

Airs LIVE Friday Nights on CPTV Sports (check local listings) beginning Friday, September 13 at 6:30 p.m. with Waterford at Platt

 

 

HARTFORD Conn. (September 4, 2013) – This fall, CPTV Sports – the state’s only 24-hour local sports channel – is once again broadcasting LIVE coverage of high school football in Connecticut.

 

Running for eleven weeks throughout the fall football season, CPTV Sports presents the LIVE High School Football Game of the Week every Friday night beginning September 13. Broadcasting many of Connecticut’s most competitive match-ups, CPTV Sports travels throughout the state to give high school football fans more live games than any other local channel in Connecticut.

CPTV Sports has assembled a talented group of announcers to cover the games. Don Boyle who covers play-by-play, has over 20 years of experience in the field and is the owner and founder of SportingNewsCT.com, a website dedicated to streaming live local sports. Marco Pizzoferrato, offering color commentary, had a successful 6-year coaching tenure at Manchester High School and knows high school football in the state from every angle. Marc Robbins acts as sideline reporter and halftime host, bringing his 11 years of experience in the WTNH sports department to the field.
