HARTFORD Conn. (October 5, 2012) – CPTV Sports, the state’s only 24-hour local sports channel, has announced an earlier start time for the High School Football Game of the Week. The match-up between Glastonbury and Manchester was originally scheduled for 7 p.m., but is now at 6 p.m. Please change your listings accordingly.

Launched on November 1, 2011, CPTV Sports is available on Comcast cable channels 185, 187 and 744; Cox Communications cable channel 805; Cablevision channel 139; Charter Northeastern channel 223; Charter Western channel 224, Thames Valley channel 87 and MetroCast Channel 418. The channel is also available digitally over the air at channels 24.3 (Hartford), 49.3 (Bridgeport), 53.3 (Norwich) and 65.3 (New Haven).
High school sports, CIAC championship games and GameTime are sponsored by Connecticut Lighting Centers. Connecticut Sun games are made possible in part by the Smilow Cancer Center at Yale/New Haven and Aqua Pool & Patio, while Xavier High School football games are sponsored by Connecticut Rental Center.
